Vitamin C Mef is available in a tablet form and is administered orally. The recommended dose is 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed. Maximum daily dose: 4 tablets. Common side effects include gastrointestinal upset, dizziness, and headache. Less common side effects include allergic reactions, skin rash, and liver damage. Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, liver disease, or bleeding disorders.
