Ranitidine Promed 150mg Tablet is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist that reduces stomach acid production. It is used to treat conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and other conditions where acid secretion is excessive. The recommended dosage is 150mg twice daily, 1 hour before meals and at bedtime. Maximum dose is 300mg per day. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and rash. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease, and in those taking other medications that may interact with ranitidine.
