Dexanta Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production. It is used to treat conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and Helicobacter pylori infections. The recommended dosage is 30mg once daily for 4-8 weeks, or as directed by a physician. Common side effects include headache, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence, and rash. Use with caution in patients with liver disease, and avoid use in patients with severe kidney disease.
