Tenace 5mg Tablet is a medication used to treat HIV-1 infection and chronic hepatitis B. It works by inhibiting the replication of the virus. The recommended dose is 300mg once daily, although patients may require a dose of 300mg twice daily based on their response to treatment. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headache. Tenace is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease, pregnancy, and breastfeeding.
