Histigo 6mg Tablet is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist used to treat conditions such as peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. The recommended dose is 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day, 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime. Common side effects include diarrhea, headache, and nausea. Rare side effects include anaphylaxis, agranulocytosis, and thrombocytopenia. Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease, and in those taking other medications that may interact with histamine H2-receptor antagonists.
