Cortidex 0.5mg Tablet is a corticosteroid medication used to treat heart failure. It works by increasing cardiac contractility and reducing peripheral resistance. The recommended dose is 0.5mg to 1mg per day, taken orally, in divided doses. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, and increased appetite. Rare side effects include allergic reactions, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and anaphylaxis.
