Bisoprolol fumarate is a beta-blocker that works by blocking the effects of the hormone epinephrine, also known as adrenaline, and by slowing the heart rate and reducing its workload. Indication: Bisoprolol fumarate is used to treat high blood pressure, chest pain (angina), and certain heart-related conditions. Dosage: The usual dose is 10-40 mg once daily, titrated to response.
