Astika is a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and certain heart conditions. It works by blocking the action of calcium ions, which causes the blood vessels to relax and dilate, thereby lowering blood pressure. Indication: Hypertension, heart conditions. Dosage: 100mg once daily. Safety: Common side effects include dizziness, headache, fatigue, and nausea. Rare side effects include angioedema, anaphylaxis, and liver damage.
