Aldisa Sr is a cough suppressant and expectorant used to relieve symptoms of cough and congestion associated with the flu and colds. It works by blocking the cough reflex and thinning mucus. Indication: Cough and congestion associated with the flu and colds. Dosage: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed for adults and children 12 years and older, 1/2 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed for children 6 to 11 years. Safety: Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, and stomach upset. Rare side effects include increased heart rate, high blood pressure, and liver damage.
