Coralan 5mg Tablet is a statin medication used to lower cholesterol levels and prevent cardiovascular disease. It works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a key role in cholesterol production in the liver. Indication: Hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia. Dosage: 10-80 mg once daily, taken orally with or without food. Safety: Common side effects include headache, muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain.
