The recommended dose is 25-50mg 2-3 times a day, with a maximum dose of 450mg in 24 hours. Common side effects include cough, dizziness, and fatigue, while rare side effects include angioedema, anaphylaxis, and renal impairment. Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, diabetes, or a history of angioedema.
