Guanistrep Sirup Suspensi 60ml is a medication used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children. It belongs to the class of medications called alpha-2 adrenergic agonists. Guanistrep works by stimulating certain receptors in the brain, which helps to reduce symptoms of ADHD such as inattention and hyperactivity. The recommended dose is 0.5-1.5 mg/kg/day, given in 2-3 divided doses. Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, and stomach upset.
