Interzinc Sirup is a medication used to treat diarrhea in children. It contains zinc gluconate, glycerin, and sucrose. The dosage is 2-3 teaspoons (10-15 mL) every 4-6 hours as needed. Nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps may occur as side effects. Allergic reactions to zinc gluconate may also occur. Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not use if the patient has a known allergy to zinc gluconate, and do not exceed the recommended dosage.
