Seretide Diskus is a combination of an inhaled corticosteroid (fluticasone propionate) and a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (salmeterol xinafoate). It is used to control and prevent symptoms of asthma and COPD. The medication works by reducing inflammation in the airways and relaxing muscles in the airways to improve breathing. Indication: Asthma and COPD. Dosage: 1 inhalation twice daily. Safety: Common side effects include throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
