Lanadexon is a corticosteroid medication that contains dexamethasone. It is used to relieve inflammation and swelling caused by allergies, asthma, and skin conditions. The medication works by reducing the release of inflammatory chemicals, such as histamine and prostaglandins. Lanadexon is available in a tablet form and is usually taken 1-2 times a day. The recommended dose is 1 tablet, and the maximum dose in 24 hours is 2 tablets. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue.
